Sally Jones

Sally joined Palladium in August 2011 as Internal Verifier Administrator after spending over 13 years teaching in adult/further education. Prior to his she held administrative/secretarial roles with local companies.

She left school with 4 ‘O’ Levels and 3 CSE’s and began her career on a Y T S course as a trainee computer programmer where she also attended college one day a week.  

She gained a further 2 ‘O’ Levels there and eventually signed up to full time college when her children were small.  It was there she completed the Higher Diploma in Administrative and Secretarial Procedures plus many other IT related skills qualifications.  She went on to train as a teacher and began delivering IT related courses to learners in further education.  Some of these included NVQ’s in Administration, Customer Service and IT.  It was during the delivery of these courses she gained experience assessing and Internal Verifying.  In addition to this she did her BSc Honours Information Technology and Computing degree part time with the Open University over 6 years. Over the following years, Sally continued to do other courses/qualifications, the latest one being the ILM Level 5 Award in Management.

A quote (possibly originating from Tony Robbins) she heard during her ILM course prompted Sally to re-evaluate her career path and decide on a change, “if you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always gotten……”.  Sally has since delivered several training courses to private companies and is keen to continue with her own personal development.
