Ruth Isaac
Ruth enjoyed a long career with the Post Office where she held a variety of operational
management roles before joining the national Management Training and Development
Group in 1989, providing in house consultancy services to the 3 key businesses Parcelforce,
Post Office Counters Ltd and Royal Mail.
Her work involved needs analysis, management skills development and assessment and
training delivery. During the latter part of her Post Office career she specialised
in training skills developing and managing provision of Royal Mail’s national competency
based trainer development programme.
The Post Office reorganisation of 2000 gave Ruth the opportunity to establish an
independent career providing consultancy, development, training and assessment services
to both public and private sector organisations. Since then Ruth has worked with
a variety of clients from local authorities to heavy industry, including both Cardiff
and Vale of Glamorgan Councils, British Gas, Celsa (UK) Steel Manufacturing, Lloyds
TSB and the Office for National Statistics.
