Kim Mayne
Kim started her career as an engineer with Plessey Radar having gained an HND in
electronics at Brooklands University. Following a period of maternity leave she then
returned to work on a technical capacity within the education sector. Firstly, in
Secondary Education and subsequently, for 12 years at the University of Wales.
Her role there included the design and delivery of technical workshops and individual
tutorials to undergraduate and post graduate students in Art, Media and Design.
Kim has worked with Palladium since 2007 and is responsible for the design and development
of team events. By designing programmes inspired by the creative arts, Palladium’s
Team Events have led to improvements in communication, cooperation, creativity and
trust. Each team building event is created from a specific brief and is tailor-made
by working closely with your organisation to ensure the most appropriate event.
Her involvement starts with an understanding of the clients requirements and key
objectives. From this brief an event can be outlined and a venue agreed. Kim will
oversee the design and production of materials together with the sourcing of any
necessary equipment required. Working with the Team Co-ordinators, Executive Trainers
and client she will manage the overall facilitation of the event.
