ILM Level 5 Award in Management

The ILM Level 5 Award in First Line Management is a nationally recognised qualification that has been specially designed to give practising and aspiring first line managers a solid foundation in their formal development as a manager. Through the development of the topics below participants will gain greater self awareness and more confidence when faced with every day managerial situations.

Developing the Individual

Developing the skills required to analyse the performance/behaviour gap between an individual and their job role. Evaluating a range of development vehicles to meet the development needs and identify the most suitable development vehicle.

 

Evaluating the effectiveness of the organisation and of self in managing and motivating individuals to achieve organisational goals and objectives, and managing the performance of all those that they are accountable for.

 

Developing a greater understanding of the organisations purpose, structure and functions and understanding the specific responsibilities of middle managers enabling the organisation to achieve its goals.

Programme Delivery and Fees

The Level 5 Award in Management is achieved through an initial one to one between tutor and participant (induction), eight full day workshops and tutorial support (2 one hour one-to-one coaching sessions). The need for additional learning resources and self study may be identified during the programme.
